And the Grants-Cibola County Educator of the Year Award goes to... Mesa View's very own... Amy Cameron! Ms. Cameron is very deserving of this award, as she always puts the students first, going above and beyond all that is expected of her. Congratulations Ms. Cameron!🥳📚

WooHoo!!! Let's all give a big "SHOUT OUT" to Mesa View staff for recognizing their students with perfect attendance for February. 87 students didn't miss a day and received a ticket for a snack. Thanks to our Outreach/EWS team & all of you for supporting our students.

These very proud students from Mrs. Emerson's Kindergarten have learned their sight words, and were very excited to have a lunch date with Mrs. Griego. Good job everyone! 🙂

Over the past few weeks, Mrs. Holden's 4th graders have been reading and learning about famous people through their biography unit in reading. Now that they have researched a famous person, the students have written biography essays in class. At home, each student was asked to create a "Bottle Biography" (a plastic bottle that is decorated to look like the person they researched.) *Shout out to all the parents who helped out with this at-home project!
These students worked very hard and deserve to be showcased!

Please see the attached revision for Tuesdays Electronic Work Session. It will now be a School Board Training Work Session. Thank You for your understanding.

The Grants High School Performing Arts Department will present Disney's The Little Mermaid on Friday, April 8th and Saturday, April 9th. Tickets for The Little Mermaid are now available online: https://secure.payk12.com/scho...
This year's production includes students from throughout the Grants Cibola County Schools in grades 3-12, as well as community and GCCS Staff members. The cast was selected during auditions that were held in November. This year we had more students than ever participate in the auditions. The Cast meets after school for rehearsals and they are making great progress in getting ready for the production.
Tickets for The Little Mermaid are $10. We hope that you will join us for the fun and excitement of our Spring Musical.

Ms. Sandoval and her Practicum Student, Evelia Lopez helped her first graders celebrate "Two's Day" by dressing like twins.
