Roberta’s Place would like to give a HUGE thanks to Mrs. Holden’s 4th grade class. They donated gifts to our children in shelter. Thanks to donors such as Mrs. Holden and her class, our shelter residents are able to celebrate the holidays and feel a little more at home.💜💜
The Good Samaritan was very appreciative for the goodies our second graders sent to all the residents...They sent fuzzy socks so they can stay warm and homemade cards. It is the season of giving!
Ms. Sandoval's first grade class sporting their ugly sweaters (which are too cute to be ugly)! They also had a blast on their trip to Grants Public Library.

As we wrap up the 2nd Qtr and 1st Semester, we at Central Office want to extend a very heartfelt Merry Christmas and a Blessed New Year to all of our Staff & Students! THANK YOU for making ours the best district in NM! Have a Great Winter Break! See you all next year!!!
It has been a very busy and exciting week here at Mesa View! Along with our annual canned food drive, we also had Shop With a Cop Day. Thanks again to everyone in our community that made this happen for our students.
Attention GCCS Community! Please see the attached letter from Grants Cibola County Schools Superintendent, Max Perez.
Next stop, District Spelling Bee! Congratulations on winning our school Spelling Bee!
Our fifth grades classes have been fortunate to be attending the STARBASE STEM program at the Air Force Research Laboratory in Albuquerque. They are learning engineering and the design process. The students are loving every minute of it! Their task was to design and build a protective carrier for an egg on the day pictured. The egg and carrier were then placed on a string on the ceiling and released in the direction of a wall. A success was if the egg didn't crack. A partial success was if the egg cracked. The only failure was if the egg splattered against the wall!
'Tis the season for sharing! We would like to give a huge shout-out to our Mesa View families for being so generous with our annual canned food drive. Mrs. Valdez couldn't resist getting a photo of her second-graders in front of all the donations!
Join us in the Mesa View Elementary School Gym Wednesday, December 15th for A Holiday Program. Parents are welcome, and can enter through the gym doors. Please refer to the attached flier for your child's program time.

Mrs. Holden's 4th graders (along with Ms. Cameron and Ms. Chelsea) were thrilled to visit various local businesses and pain some of their windows for the upcoming holiday season. Shout out to Roger & Evelyn Siegmann and Grants Main Street for organizing this amazing project, and getting our students involved with their community. We are also grateful for Domino's Pizza and SoloWorks Cibola for providing lunch and a place to eat.
