All Grants Cibola County Schools will be on an early release on Friday, May 24, 2024. Elementary Schools will be released at 11:45 am. All Middle and High Schools will be released at noon.

Happy Staff Appreciation Week to Cubero and Seboyeta staff who had a blast solving a 1920's murder mystery. Shout out to our amazing principal, Ms. Monica Martinez. Thank you for being supportive and making school a fun place to be.

GCCS 2024-2025 New Student Registration Opens April 29, 2024

There will be no after school activities today, April 24, at Cubero Elementary. There will be after school activities on Monday, April 29th. The last day of after school will be May 8th.

We want to acknowledge our Tiny Tigers for participating in the 3rd annual Kindergarten festival. The after school Cubero Art class participated in the GCCS ESS Art Contest where they submitted beautiful watercolor paintings. The painitngs were on display at the Central office in March. Two students were selected as "the Best of Show" for their creative paintings. Congratulations to 6th graders Lailonna Ray and Sonja Vicente for representing the Art program by tying for 1st place. ESS's Marisa Corley came to the school to present them with awesome Art materials for their efforts

Cubero Elementary Students were visited by a Hoppity Visitor today! The visitor had invited the students outside to the playground for a Surprise Egg Hunt.

Congratulations to our Instructional Coach, Mrs. Ballew for receiving the district's SELOVE award for elementary teachers for the month of March. Thank you for all that you do, Mrs. Ballew!

Attention Parents: Individual and Class Group Photos will be taken at Cubero Elementary School on 03/21/24. All students will be photographed and you will receive a proof to see your student's photo before you buy the bigger portraits. We are offering some discounted Picture Day Specials that must be turned into the photographer on picture day. Additional items/packages will be available for purchase online as usual. You will receive a proof about 1 week after picture day for those. They will be photographed on a green screen so please avoid green and you will be able to pick your background for individuals when you place your order.
