Welcome to another wonderful school year here at Mesa View Elementary! This year is going to be a very busy year with many new exciting experiences for the kids!
First and foremost, I would like to introduce myself. I am Mr. Joseph Martin the new 3rd Grade teacher. I am from the Pueblo of Acoma and I have been in education for over 11 years. I moved from Phoenix, AZ where I taught 5th grade. I am currently in school at UNM to obtain my Master's in Business Administration. This year in our 3rd Grade classroom we will have 24 students. We will be learning many new things in English/Language Arts, Math, Science and Social Studies.
So, this school year I want to welcome you parents and families to a uniquely new year of learning. Remember to encourage your student to wear their mask and to wash their hands.
